The park has a variety of recreation opportunities with open and shaded turfgrass, three year-round creeks, a small lake, and a rose garden. It also features three softball fields, one baseball field, and a sports complex as well as jogging and hiking trails.

Park Information
Completed in 1974, this 124-acre park is characterized by rolling hills, a large variety of mature trees, open space, a small lake, three year-round creeks, and a rose garden. These unique features contribute to an overall sense of serenity and beauty. Walkways, picnic tables, and park benches are scattered throughout the park providing abundant shade.
There are a number of recreational activities available at the park including three softball fields, one baseball field, jogging trails, and a sports complex with basketball, tennis, volleyball,l, and 3-wall racquetball/handball courts. A three-acre lake is stocked annually and fishing for catfish and bluegill is permitted (California Fishing License required). Three tot lots and six picnic shelters are also available. Interpretive programs and model boats are also offered. All facilities are open to the public with the exception of the picnic shelters which may be reserved for weddings and special events.
Craig Park Walkabout Route is a 4.2-mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Fullerton, California that features opportunities to watch wildlife and is good for all skill levels. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash.
Picnic Areas
This park is a great picnic location that also offers bicycle and hiking trails. It has many shaded and open turf grass picnic areas with barbecues as well as a three-acre lake for fishing. The park is also a wildlife sanctuary and popular for bird-watching.

Hiking Trails

The park’s paved walking trails offer opportunities for a relaxing stroll and are suitable for wheelchairs. A 4.2-mile moderately trafficked loop trail, the Walkabout Route, offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash.
OC Parks is working with the IMBA (International Mountain Bike Association) to explore the possibility of creating a world-class bike facility within the park. The facility would include mountain bike trails, dirt jump areas, and slopestyle courses for riders of all ages and skill levels. The project is expected to be completed in 2020.
Fishing
Every great city contains a waterway; Paris has the Seine, London the Thames, New York the Hudson, and Fullerton is no exception. The Fullerton Creek flows into and out of Craig Park and through the city’s downtown area, providing an unexpected green refuge for local residents seeking a peaceful walk or jog around its banks.
A three-acre lake stocked a minimum of once each year with catfish and bluegill is visited by annual migratory waterfowl and provides opportunities to fish using a California State Fishing License. The lake is also available to launch model radio-controlled sailboats.
