Adventure City

There are a lot of fun places to go in Anaheim, CA. But if you are looking for something a little smaller than Disney, then Adventure City is a great option.

This small theme park is an affordable alternative to Disneyland and offers many rides. The park also features a petting zoo, climbing wall and arcade. A great post ahead.

Theme Park

Located four miles from Disneyland, Adventure City is a family theme park that’s geared toward younger children. The motto here is “The Little Theme Park That’s Big On Family Fun” and it’s a great place for young kids who don’t want to spend too much time at an amusement park, but who still want to have fun.

The park features 17 rides and attractions, including a handful of roller coasters. One of the highlights is the Rescue Ride, a miniature train that travels around a track and has 6 individual rescue vehicles that you get to sit in.

The park also features a number of vintage rides, such as the 1938 Adventure City Express Train that was a main attraction at Hobby City for 25 years before it was acquired by Adventure City. Other rides include a 1946 carousel and the Giggle Wheel kids’ Ferris wheel. In 2015, the park added Rewind Racers, a unique family shuttle coaster that’s the first of its kind in North America.

Amusement Park

Located just a few miles from Disneyland, Adventure City is a small family-friendly theme park. It features 17 thrilling rides and festive attractions at a fraction of the cost.

Adventure City’s main attraction is the thrills of the roller coasters, but there are also many other fun activities for kids. Try climbing the 20-foot climbing wall, visit a petting farm to canoodle with bunnies or meet pigs, and watch one of the children’s shows in the theater.

The rides are not as big as those at the bigger amusement parks, but they do a good job of letting kids experience the thrills without getting overly tired or stressed out. There are also rides for younger kids, such as Rescue 911, where they can try on firefighter helmets and jackets, board little vehicles, and respond to silly-style emergency calls from a dispatcher. Family Attraction

Adventure City is a smaller theme park that is geared toward the younger kids. With 17 rides, shows and attractions, the park is a fun and affordable alternative to other local theme parks.

A small ride selection means that kids won’t feel pressed to ride everything in one day, and the wait times are short. Several of the rides have height requirements, but all are safe and fun for young children.

Rescue 911 – This ride teaches kids about fire trucks and police cars, while telling fictitious emergency calls that are relayed to participants by a real 911 dispatcher.

Barnstormer Planes – This miniature plane ride is sure to impress kids who have never been on a plane before.

Drop Zone – This little kid coaster is perfect for younger children and older children who want to try something new.

Crank ‘n’ Roll – This mini train is a fun experience for kids, as they get to be the engineer.
